Abstract

Trust Anchor is a local-first security framework designed to enforce integrity, capability boundaries, and operational trust in environments subject to persistent, adaptive, and non-traditional threat models, including supply-chain compromise, coercive operational interference, and long-horizon behavioral attacks. Unlike perimeter- or cloud-dependent security systems, Trust Anchor establishes an immutable local trust root that governs operations, job execution, and state transitions independently of external infrastructure. The framework emphasizes reproducibility, deterministic validation, and post-compromise survivability, prioritizing verifiable local invariants over remote attestation. This release includes the full source code, policy definitions, forensic tooling, and documentation necessary to deploy, audit, and reproduce the system. A cryptographic manifest and per-file SHA-256 checksums are provided to support independent verification. Version 1.0.0 represents the first stable archival release intended for citation and long-term reference. Disclosure: At the time of archival, the author operated under a constrained trust environment due to suspected compromise of primary development systems. This release was therefore published via API with independently generated cryptographic manifests to preserve integrity, provenance, and auditability.
