COREX-GC v6.4 — Physical Interpretation of Dark Matter Phenomenology from Coherent Baryonic Motion
Abstract
This work presents the completed physical interpretation and closure of COREX-GC v6.4, a preregistered, no-tuning gravitational framework that identifies a regime boundary for dark-matter phenomenology. COREX predicts that dark-matter-like gravitational behavior emerges only in systems with coherent baryonic motion and is suppressed in dispersion-supported systems such as ultra-diffuse galaxies, dwarf spheroidals, and globular clusters. Beyond establishing this activation boundary, preregistered tests are performed to evaluate whether the strength of the effect scales with kinematic coherence or dynamical time. These scaling hypotheses are shown to fail without calibration, demonstrating that COREX functions as a phase-selection (regime) theory rather than an amplitude-fitting model. Both positive and negative preregistered results are reported explicitly. Taken together, the results indicate that dark-matter phenomenology in COREX arises as an emergent gravitational response linked to coherent baryonic motion, not missing mass, and that the framework reaches a natural stopping point without introducing tunable parameters. This record finalizes COREX-GC v6.4 as a closed explanatory regime theory and defines its domain of validity.
