THE MUSKAT ARCHITECTURE: A Blueprint for Modular, Auditable, and Circular Firm-Energy Infrastructure
Abstract
The Muskat Architecture is a systems blueprint for deploying firm, low-carbon energy at scale by treating nuclear energy as an operational platform rather than a bespoke construction project. The core claim is architectural: the limiting factor for scalable deployment is not primarily the physics of fission, but repeatable interfaces, auditable custody, host-qualified heat rejection, and phase-gated lifecycle handling. We propose a modular stack consisting of standardized host-side docks, replaceable power modules ("Power Cells"), regulator-compatible audit hooks, and a national/regional lifecycle center concept ("Recovery Hubs"). The document is intentionally falsifiable and provides an Assumption Ledger, explicit "Killer" failure modes, and fast-falsification tests.
