Our Perception of Reality: GR vs SP3
Abstract
General Relativity (GR) has provided an extraordinarily successful geometric description ofgravitation and spacetime, yet it treats space as an instantaneous responder to matter–energy without intrinsic persistence. In this work, we adopt the SP3 (space-phasepersistence) framework to examine how human perception of physical reality changeswhen space itself is permitted to possess state, memory, and the capacity to store andrelax energy. Using a qualitative, phenomenological comparison with GR, we show thatmany otherwise counter-intuitive features of modern physics—such as black-holeenergetics, gravitational-wave detection, light-propagation anomalies, and the emergenceof time asymmetry—acquire a unified and experiential interpretation when viewed asconsequences of conditioned space structure. Within SP3, space is no longer a passivegeometric arena but a co-evolving participant whose history influences present dynamics. This shift reframes observation as an interrogation of accumulated space history ratherthan a snapshot of instantaneous geometry, bringing large-scale cosmology, laboratoryinterferometry, and even biological memory into conceptual alignment under a singleoperational principle.
