The Selection-Stitch Model (SSM): Space-Time Emergence and a discrete Geometric Framework for Cosmic Acceleration via Lattice Saturation
Abstract
The Selection-Stitch Model (SSM) proposes a discrete geometric framework where space- time volume (V) emerges from quantum information (S) through tetrahedral voxelization. We suggest that cosmic acceleration arises not from Dark Energy, but from a topological phase transition from a fluid “Chain Phase” (z > 2) to a rigid “Mesh Phase” (z < 1). Leveraging the 3D kissing number (Kmax = 12), we derive a geometric efficiency multi- plier η = 1 + 1/12 ≈ 1.083. This value aligns with the observed Hubble tension ratio (HLate/HEarly ≈73/67.4 ≈1.083), resolving the discrepancy as a lattice saturation effect. The model further predicts a modified black hole decay rate (tlif e ∝M2) via bulk vertex deletion and addresses large-scale anisotropies.
