Physics Compiler: A Gate-Audited Operator Catalog for Gravity–Electromagnetism EFT
Abstract
Physics Compiler is a “compiler-output” style audit of gravity–electromagnetism EFT operator space through dimension six. Instead of proposing ad hoc model modifications, this work enumerates curvature–electromagnetism effective operators and screens them using explicit gates: EGC (diffeomorphism and gauge invariance, conservation closure, limit recovery, DOF sanity) and CST (ghost/hyperbolicity/tachyon diagnostics where applicable). The primary artifact is a reproducible operator audit table with PASS/FAIL certificates, failure codes, redundancy labels (EOM/IBP/field-redefinition sensitivity), and activation-regime flags (Minkowski-vanishing vs curvature-activated vs derivative-active). This release includes a machine-readable schema (CSV/JSON fields) so the audit table can be used as a standardized tool output by other researchers. The goal is to shrink speculative model space and make GR–EM EFT model building auditable and reproducible.
