MODERN CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT STRATEGIES IN TEACHING ENGLISH TO YOUNG LEARNERS
Abstract
The focus of this research is to explore developing language competencies, fostering sustainable motivation, ensuring a positive socio- emotional learning environment and supporting active learner engagement throughout the lesson. Classroom management is a central aspect of effective English language teaching, particularly in classes with young learners who require constant engagement and emotional support. In modern education, classroom management is no longer limited to controlling behavior; instead, it emphasizes creating a positive, interactive, and learner-centered environment. This paper explores modern classroom management strategies applied in teaching English to young learners and examines their role in improving motivation, discipline, and language acquisition. Special attention is given to interactive learning, positive discipline, classroom routines, and the integration of technology. The study demonstrates that well-managed classrooms significantly enhance both academic achievement and learners’ social development.
