JANE AUSTEN'S LIFE AND ITS REFLECTION IN HER NOVELS
Abstract
This thesis explores Jane Austen’s life, literary development, and lasting influence, emphasizing how her personal experiences are reflected in her novels. Born in 1775 into an educated clerical family, Austen was exposed to a rich intellectual environment that nurtured her writing skills from an early age. Her works provide sharp observations of social class, human relationships, and the roles of women in late eighteenth- and early nineteenth-century English society. Although her novels were initially published anonymously and received limited recognition during her lifetime, they later achieved widespread popularity and have secured her place as one of the most significant authors in English literature
