Abstract

ABSTRACT This book presents an attempt to formulate the physical layer of quantum mechanics. It is intended to serve as an intermediate level between what actually happens in the world and in the course of measurements, and what is described by the theory’s formalism. Rather than taking QM as an axiom, I treat it as an effective shadow of phenomena arising from operational constraints: finite resolution, locality of interactions, incomplete access to degrees of freedom, and the inevitable loss of information. A key role is played by dynamics with memory: I introduce a language of memory kernels and projective descriptions, and show how memory and couplings to the environment reorganize the description from a microscopic to an effective one. I describe the structure of relations and information flow using graphs and spectral tools, in particular the graph Laplacian. I introduce the notion of an effective metric, which captures the cost and accessibility of transitions between configurations, and on this basis I define a reachability cone as the set of states and processes achievable within a given horizon under specified constraints. I also discuss no-go constraint markers—tools for detecting the limits of reconstruction, separability, and controllability. Overall, the book combines elements of open-systems theory, non-Markovianity, and information geometry with classical results on nonlocality and contextuality, proposing a coherent framework for interpretation and further refinements. Omawiam także markery ograniczeń typu no-go — narzędzia wykrywania granic rekonstrukcji, separowalności i sterowalności. Całość łączy elementy teorii układów otwartych, niemarkowowskości i geometrii informacji z klasycznymi wynikami dotyczącymi nielokalności i kontekstualności, proponując spójne ramy do interpretacji oraz dalszych uściśleń.
