Vacuum Crystallography: The Standard Model as Topological Defects in a Harmonic Lattice
Abstract
Derives the complete Standard Model from discrete vacuum geometry using the Schwarz Primitive minimal surface. Leptons emerge as perfect screw dislocations (integer Burgers vectors), quarks as partial dislocations (fractional charge 2/3, 1/3), and gluons from crystallographic fault plane orientations. Explicitly calculates 8-color gluon structure from cubic symmetry via singlet projection (reduces 10→8). Predicts Normal Hierarchy neutrino masses with Δm²₂₁ ≈ 7.42×10⁻⁵ eV² using damped Golden Ratio scaling m_k ≈ m₀/φ^(k-1), achieving Σm_ν ~ 0.06 eV. Mixing angles derive geometrically (θ₁₂ ≈ 31.7°, within 3-5% observed). Confinement emerges from stacking fault energy σ ~ 1 GeV/fm. Falsifiable via DUNE (neutrino hierarchy), Hyper-K (mixing angles), UHECR (Lorentz violations), and cluster merger dynamics.
