The Cajón Isn't the Problem: FCCM Fellowship Artefact (Edition Pathway Part II)

This document was submitted and approved as an assessed artefact for the Fellowship of the Curwen College of Musicians (FCCM), Edition Pathway, Part II. It presents a practice-led pedagogical framework for cajón performance, grounded in groove function, sound mapping, and generative development across song forms. The artefact documents professional practice, reflective commentary, and instructional systems developed through applied teaching and performance contexts. It is not a commercial method book and is not intended as a consumer-facing instructional product. A separately edited and pedagogically adapted publication for commercial release is in development.
