A Geometric No--Go Mechanism for Critical Concentration in Yang--Mills Theory
Abstract
This preprint identifies a geometric no–go mechanism excluding critical concentration in Yang–Mills theory.By viewing the configuration space modulo gauge as an effective geometric space and considering a strictly convex, coercive energy functional, we show that the associated gradient flow cannot converge to degenerate boundary configurations corresponding to scale collapse. The result is structural and independent of quantitative estimates. It isolates a geometric obstruction to blow–up mechanisms relevant to mass gap phenomena.
