Abstract

This work develops the theoretical foundations laid in the first part of the trilogy, "The logical problem of evil" (available on Zenodo). This paper presents the "Triangle of Oppositions" as an operational hermeneutic model for analyzing the dynamics of conflict in complex systems. It provides a four-phase methodological procedure to objectively identify the core elements of any event: the Opposites (O1, O2), the contested vital resource (Enèrgheia, E), and the active Witness (T). The model's power and cross-disciplinary validity are demonstrated through concrete applications to diverse phenomena, including quantum physics (the photon), physiology (the heart) and contemporary crises (the war in Ukraine, climate change). By offering a unified analytical framework, the paper contributes to methodological discussions in hermeneutics, conflict theory, and interdisciplinary studies.
