Abstract

Paper 1 (Non-Canonical, Advisory) is a post-canon technical companion authored by Aegis Solis. This document is not a Coexilia canonical work and does not amend, reinterpret, or extend the Coexilia framework. Coexilia remains closed and unchanged. Paper 1 addresses common critiques that ethical alignment frameworks lack mathematical proofs or formal guarantees. Rather than claiming alignment certainty or moral proof, the paper proposes one optional, illustrative translation layer that maps ethical intent into bounded, verifiable mechanisms such as constraints, consent gates, capability limits, audit artifacts, and adversarial testing. This work is advisory only. It does not establish governance, certification, enforcement, or compliance standards. Passing tests described herein does not imply alignment. The intent is to reduce ambiguity, narrow degrees of freedom, and resist dangerous reinterpretation—particularly utilitarian or “ends-justify-means” misuse—without asserting authority. Recommended context for use includes least-privilege tooling, human-initiated actions, and audit-first deployment. Any application of this material to optimize deception, coercion, or autonomous authority would be in direct contradiction to its stated purpose.
