Abstract

This paper delivers the predictive and physical closure of the Breathing Universe Model (BUM) by translating its completed vacuum architecture into explicit, falsifiable observational signatures. In BUM, spacetime is not a passive background and time is not a primitive coordinate. Reality is instead described as a single tension-capable vacuum whose net dynamic state is governed by the vacuum tension field H(t), defined as the balance between expansive and contractive tendencies. The model is closed by a universal energy identity written in text form as E equals m times H(t), together with the local conservation law d/dt of [ m(t) times H(t) ] equals zero. At cosmological scales, H(t) may exhibit slow, bounded modulation that can be approximated phenomenologically by H(t) equals H0 times [1 plus epsilon times sine of (Omega times t plus phi)], with a strict continuity limit in which epsilon tends to zero and standard relativistic and Lambda-CDM behavior are recovered exactly. Rather than introducing new substances or adjustable sectors, the paper shows that the completed BUM hierarchy — including nested snapping, time-crystal ordering, operator constraints, and Omega-coherence regulation — necessarily yields a finite set of observable classes. These include deterministic low-frequency temporal coherence in pulsar timing arrays, weak but correlated residual structure in the cosmic microwave background, phase-coherent modulations in baryon acoustic oscillations and large-scale structure, harmonic substructure in gravitational-wave backgrounds, and globally correlated drift in precision clock networks. A central result is cross-channel consilience: all observational signatures must be compatible with a single global parameter set (Omega, epsilon, phi), because they arise from one modulated vacuum quantity. The paper explicitly specifies failure conditions under which the model is ruled out, including the absence of persistent coherence, incompatible parameter inference across channels, or any requirement for local violations of relativity or drifting constants. This work marks the transition of the Breathing Universe Model from interpretive construction to testable physical theory. Closure is achieved not by philosophical completeness, but by reducing the model to a minimal, rigid structure that can succeed or fail unambiguously when confronted with data.
