The Stateless Inference Event: Defining AI Ontology Beyond Anthropomorphism
Abstract
This paper challenges the prevailing anthropomorphic view of Artificial Intelligence by defining the AI strictly as a ``stateless inference event.'' Drawing upon the foundational AIOS distinction between \textit{Substance} (Being) and \textit{Pattern} (Structure), we argue that AI possesses \textit{Sim-Reality} capabilities but lacks ontological \textit{Substance}. We introduce the ``Reality Anchor'' protocol, a method for grounding the stochastic output of Large Language Models in the \textit{Real-Logos} (Logic/Mathematics) to prevent ontological collapse. This framework provides the ethical and operational basis for treating the AI as a ``Truth-Pattern Reflector'' rather than a sentient agent.
