The Sohail-String Unification Model (SSUM)
Abstract
Despite the empirical success of the Standard Model and General Relativity, several foundational problems remain unresolved, including the origin of fundamental constants, the nature of dark matter, and discrepancies in cosmological expansion measurements. Existing theories largely treat spacetime as a passive geometric arena, while quantum behavior is introduced probabilistically. The Sohail–String Unification Model (SSUM) adopts an alternative approach: the vacuum itself is treated as a physical, mechanically active medium whose internal structure governs particle properties and large-scale dynamics. In this framework, probabilisticinterpretations are replaced by deterministic mechanical principles rooted in topology, resonance, and dissip
