ENERGY AS THE CAPACITY FOR PHYSICAL ENFORCEMENT
Abstract
This paper establishes energy as a physical necessity rather than an abstract bookkeeping quantity. Using a strict mechanism-first framework, it demonstrates that only structures capable of enforcing change through force, momentum exchange, back-reaction, or constraint maintenance can participate in physical law. By elimination, any structure lacking energy is shown to be dynamically inert and physically inadmissible. The paper introduces no new laws and makes no predictions; it clarifies what energy must be for conservation, interaction, and dynamics to be physically realizable at all. The argument is constructed entirely from first-principle physical enforcement and logical necessity.
