Abstract

A companion paper establishes that when matter stress-energy is restricted to a finite spacetime domain by a smooth window function ♢(x), the contracted Bianchi identity requires a compensating stress-energy contribution T_comp μν at the localization boundary. In the high-localization-density regime, this compensator coarse-grains to a pressureless remnant T_Rem μν that is globally conserved, carries no Standard Model gauge charge, and couples only to the metric. The structural result is clean. What has remained open is whether the remnant abundance is quantitatively consistent with the observed dark-matter density. This paper closes that question with a direct calculation. For a massless spectator scalar in quasi-de Sitter spacetime, the Bunch-Davies vacuum occupation number at Hubble crossing gives a derived transfer efficiency ζ = 3/(32π²) ≈ 0.0095, with no free parameters. The remnant is established at the end of inflation and coevolves with the inflaton condensate through the matter-dominated preheating epoch; its fraction relative to the inflaton is frozen at f_reh = ζH_inf²/(3M_Pl²), independently of the reheating temperature. Redshifting as pressureless matter from reheating to today, the present remnant density parameter satisfies Ω_Rem,0 = Ω_DM,0 = 0.266 along the constraint surface H_inf² T_reh = (3.83 ± 0.06) × 10^30 GeV^3. Every point on this surface is consistent with the BICEP/Keck upper bound H_inf < 4.7 × 10^13 GeV, the BBN lower bound T_reh > 4 MeV, and the instantaneous-reheating maximum. At the BICEP/Keck upper limit, the constraint predicts T_reh = 1730 GeV, seven times the electroweak scale. A measurement of the tensor-to-scalar ratio r by CMB-S4 or LiteBIRD would fix H_inf and thereby determine the required reheating temperature uniquely. The mechanism is structurally distinguished from WIMPZILLA and gravitino production by its w = 0 equation of state, which follows from the Vanishing Lemma applied to the compensator sector rather than from a particle mass assumption.
