THE SELECTION-STITCH MODEL (SSM): A Phenomenological Lattice Approach to the Hubble Tension and Dark Matter Ratio
Abstract
The unification of General Relativity with Quantum Mechanics remains the central open prob- lem in theoretical physics. We propose the Selection-Stitch Model (SSM), a background- independent framework where space-time volume emerges from quantum information via tetrahe- dral voxelization. By interpreting the vacuum as a discrete simplicial complex, we derive observed physical laws as emergent statistical properties of the network. We resolve the Hubble Tension by identifying Dark Energy as a Lattice Pressure (Plat) arising from the saturation of the 3D Kissing Number (Kmax = 12). This mechanism yields a theoretical expansion efficiency multi- plier η = 1 + 1/12 ≈1.083, matching the discrepancy between Planck and SH0ES measurements (73.0/67.4 ≈1.083). We resolve the Dark Matter problem by deriving the observed 5 : 1 cos- mic mass ratio via geometric equipartition of the lattice axes. Finally, we model the vacuum as a Polycrystalline Manifold to reconcile discrete geometry with Lorentz Invariance limit
