Abstract

Analytical chemistry is a cornerstone of the chemical sciences, dedicated to understanding the composition, structure, and behaviour of matter.[1] It is a discipline that bridges the gap between theoretical chemistry and practical applications, providing the tools and techniques necessary to answer two fundamental questions: What is it? (qualitative analysis) and How much is it? (quantitative analysis). These questions are central to virtually every field of science, from pharmaceutical development to forensic science.
