Sox4 and Sox15 are germ-line stem cell specifying factors.
Abstract
We measured total transcription in human primordial germ cells with spermatogenic and oogenic potential to identify factors important for specifying the germ line in humans. We report here identification of Sox homeoboxes Sox4 and Sox15 as PGC-specifying nuclear factors.
