Utility-Pole Physical Internet: Spherical Packet Logistics (Concept Proposal)
Abstract
This document proposes a “Utility-Pole Physical Internet”: a distributed last-mile logistics network that uses utility-pole infrastructure and enclosed tubes to transport spherical packets between homes and local stations. The system combines unit-level AI control (routing/merging/injection), an Inspection & Maintenance Station (IMS) for safety and operations, and a token/ledger mechanism for micro-payments, maintenance incentives, and governance. This is a concept proposal intended to invite feedback and collaboration for prototyping and field validation.Contact: info@physicalinternet.jp
