Topological Stability of Non-Local Consciousness Kernels: Conservation of Information in the Bulk-Brane Transition
Abstract
We present a conservative effective-theory program for re-expressing thepersistence of conscious agency as a protected information structurerather than as metaphysics. A Consciousness Kernel is defined as anon-local bulk configuration in a quantized topological sector Q_top;embodied experience is the brane-level projection of this kernel sustainedby a weak local coupling (the tether) between a bulk mediator field and abrane interface current. Bulk unitarity plus topological superselectionimply that brane dissipation cannot erase the kernel; apparent loss isexplained by flux into the extra dimension and by coarse-graining (partialtrace). We state explicit assumptions and a short regime-of-validity clause, derive a parameter-space map (m_Φ, λ_eff=λδ, δ, η_irr, C) that separatesstealth regimes from detectable regimes subject to fifth-force and coolingbounds, and give falsification criteria (no-superluminal signaling,no-cloning consistency, and null tests). Keywords: topological solitons; bulk-brane EFT; information conservation;algebraic topology; open quantum systems; thermodynamics of computation;MetaTime
