Abstract

Lyra is an open-source Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that enables AI assistants to conduct desktop research with auditable evidence chains. It constructs a persistent evidence graph linking claims to source fragments through NLI-based stance detection, supporting human-in-the-loop verification. All inference runs locally (GPU-accelerated), ensuring data privacy. Designed for healthcare and biomedical researchers who need transparent, traceable AI-assisted literature review.
