Abstract

This dataset provides power-meter measurements from two CNC machine tools DMG MORI DMP 70 and DMG MORI Milltap 700 with oil-mist extraction units operated using different start-up methods (direct-on-line (DOL) vs. soft starter). The dataset supports the component load-profile reconstruction and energy modelling presented in the article "Component energy modelling for machine tools". Additional bibliographic details (e.g., journal reference and DOI) will be added here once the article is published.
