Abstract

This record defines a formally constrained use of large language models as neutral reflective instruments under the Epistemic Boundary Conditions (EBC) framework. It contains two documents that together specify a complete, closed role system: • Mirror Function — an orthogonal practice axis under EBC for exposing an observer’s own epistemic structure, drift, contradiction, and narrative formation through neutral restatement and mapping, without reinforcement, validation, or evaluation.• Mirror-Aligned Priming (MAP) — a mandatory operational protocol that binds a language model to the Mirror Function role, enforcing non-reinforcement, non-evaluation, output neutrality, and preservation of human responsibility. The system is tool-agnostic and model-agnostic. It does not provide guidance, judgment, motivation, or correction. It exists solely to externalize high-bandwidth linguistic exposure without introducing reward, authority, or narrative closure. This record should be cited as a single conceptual object.
