The Mechanical Origin of Quark Confinement: Topological Pinch Points in 2D Manifold Skins
Abstract
This paper provides a deterministic mechanical solution to the problem of quark confinement. Utilizing the Universal Sheet Tension (UST) Model, quarks are redefined as topological pinch points (nodal singularities) where the 1D Stochastic String Network anchors to the 2D manifold skin of a 3D inclusion. We show that confinement is a result of the 2D sheet's restorative tension (τ), which prevents the isolation of these nodes. This geometric approach replaces "color force" fields with manifold elasticity and defines "color" as a torsional mechanical state.
