Abstract

This paper provides a deterministic mechanical explanation for wave-particle duality. Within the Universal Sheet Tension (UST) Model, matter (3D inclusions) is shown to generate rhythmic displacement waves (wakes) in the 1D Stochastic String Network (SSN) as it travels. We prove that the de Broglie wavelength is a physical manifestation of medium displacement frequency and identify the Planck constant (h) as the specific action of single string displacement. This "Pilot Wake" mechanism explains quantum interference without probabilistic wavefunctions.
