Abstract

This paper clarifies the role of the KN stabilizer field in KN-stabilized Yang–Mills constructions by formulating it explicitly at the level of the action. Two consistent interpretations are presented: an auxiliary-field formulation, in which the stabilizer acts as a non-propagating constraint, and a dynamical formulation, in which the stabilizer is treated as a massive field whose effects decouple in the infrared. In both cases, the theory admits a well-defined infrared limit in which an effective Abelian U(1) gauge sector emerges without the introduction of explicit ultraviolet cutoffs or ad hoc truncation. The emergence of electromagnetism is shown to follow from standard effective field theory mechanisms—either through controlled sectoral reduction or dynamical decoupling—rather than from spontaneous symmetry breaking, although symmetry-breaking extensions are briefly outlined. The primary purpose of this work is conceptual clarification. It resolves ambiguities present in earlier formulations regarding the dynamical status of the stabilizer field and the origin of the effective Abelian sector. As such, it is intended to serve both as a response to technical critiques and as a reference point guiding future development of the KN-stabilized framework, including potential symmetry-breaking dynamics, spectrum analysis, and quantum corrections.
