Abstract

Prism.jl is an open-source Julia framework for real-time, edge-preserving, regularized material decomposition of planar dual-energy (DE) kV projections. It implements and benchmarks both local (edge-weighted quadratic) and non-local (similarity-driven) regularization strategies, introduces a DE-specific similarity regularization, and provides matrix-free GPU implementations for the computationally demanding similarity operators. The package enables several-fold noise reduction with minimal latency, making it suitable for research and translational imaging workflows.
