Concept Hybrid Remote Sensing Drone Design for Proposed Mining Applications in Saudi Arabia

This technical note presents a conceptual hybrid remote sensing drone system designed for non-invasive biophysicochemical mapping in arid environments of the Arabian Shield. The system integrates photonic probes, electromagnetic tags, and an optional standoff LIBS module to detect microbial focal points as proxies for subsurface mineralization. A hypothetical deployment demonstrates its potential for sustainable pre-exploration in support of Saudi Vision 2030.
