An Exploratory study on Perception, Attitude and Acceptance of covid-19 booster dose vaccination by the general public in selected rural and urban areas in Puducherry

An Exploratory study was conducted to explore the Perception, Attitudes and Acceptance towards COVID-19 booster dose vaccination among General Public in Selected Rural and Urban areas in Puducherry. The objective of the study was to identify the level of Perception and Attitudes towards COVID19 booster dose vaccination among the General Public, to explore the Acceptance of COVID-19 booster dose vaccination and its influencing factors among the General Public and associate the level of Perception, Attitudes and Acceptance towards COVID-19 booster dose vaccination among the General Public with selected demographic variables. Subjects and Methods: A quantitative research approach was used. An exploratory study was conducted by using a purposive sampling technique among 400 General Public was selected in Rural and Urban areas in Puducherry. Result:The result revealed that the General Public had a Moderate Perception and Unfavourable Attitude towards COVID-19 booster dose vaccination in Rural and Urban areas.
