PERANCANGAN SISTEM INFORMASI AKUNTANSI PENJUALAN PADA TOKO BANGUNAN TERKENANG JAYA BERBASIS MICROSOFT ACCESS

This article reviews the development of an accounting information system for sales recording utilizing Microsoft Access at Toko Bangunan Terkenang Jaya. The purpose of developing this system is to improve the company's efficiency and productivity in managing sales transaction data. The author collected data through interviews, observations, and document collection. The data used in this article includes primary and secondary data. After analyzing the information obtained, the author found that the company still uses a manual recording system, which results in a number of errors in calculating and recording sales transactions. To address this problem, the author proposes designing a sales accounting information system for Toko Bangunan Terkenang Jaya, which will be created using Microsoft Access. This process includes analyzing weaknesses in sales recording at Toko Bangunan Terkenang Jaya, designing the application, and testing the application. The designed application is capable of generating various reports, such as sales reports, sales reports per item, sales reports per transaction by date, and inventory reports. The author recommends that Toko Bangunan Terkenang Jaya switch from a manual recording system to a computer-based system. This change is essential to ensure the smooth and effective operation of Toko Bangunan Terkenang Jaya's business. Keywords: System design, sales, Microsoft Access
