ΔΦ COLLAPSE FRUSTRATION v2.0 The Field Geometry of the Glass Transition
Abstract
This Version 2.0 DOI paper redefines the glass transition as a field-collapse phenomenon governed by the Mitchell Equation (ΔΦ = ρ × v). Rather than a passive freezing process, the formation of glass is presented as an active failure of collapse resolution—where electrostatic gradients encounter interference, yielding metastable, amorphous structures. This theory introduces collapse frustration as the causal engine of glass behavior and unlocks new material applications in energy buffering, insulation, and long-term electrostatic storage. The paper offers extended mathematical models and cross-domain applications from protein folding to planetary cooling and cosmic phase transitions.
