Abstract

Abstract This paper proposes Legal AI Operating Model v1.0, a structured operating framework for legal teams transitioning from individual-expertise-driven workflows to judgment-centric, AI-augmented organizational systems. Unlike efficiency-focused LegalTech models, this framework addresses the core bottleneck of modern legal organizations: high-density legal judgment that is implicit, non-transferable, and non-scalable. By introducing layered task classification, AI tool stratification, and apprenticeship-based workflow design, the model enables legal judgment to become visible, teachable, and accumulative—without overloading senior experts or destabilizing delivery quality.
