STRATEGY-BASED APPROACHES TO TEACHING LISTENING IN THE EFL CLASSROOM
Abstract
This article explores the efficacy of strategy-based techniques in teaching listeningcomprehension to EFL students. It investigates top-down, bottom-up, and metacognitive techniques forhelping learners absorb spoken language more effectively and become independent listeners.
