Forest Wise: An Open-Source AI System for Real-Time Illegal Logging Detection

Forest Wise is an open-source, end-to-end AI system for detecting illegallogging using low-power edge nodes, LoRa communication, and cloud-basedcomputer vision models. The system converts raw audio into a 32×32 mel-spectrogramimages (~2 KB) for efficient transmission and classification using Azure CustomVision and GPT-4o Vision.
