Beyond General Relativity: TMDD and MM in Gravity Probe B
Abstract
This work presents a quantitative and conceptual analysis of the residual anomalies in the Gravity Probe B (GP-B) experiment through the lens of two ontologically grounded frameworks: the Tensor Model of Discrete Dynamics (TMDD) and Mazein Mechanics (MM). Rather than treating the systematic deviations from General Relativity (GR)—+4.3 mas/yr in geodetic precession and +2.0 mas/yr in frame-dragging—as experimental noise, we interpret them as signals marking the boundary of GR’s domain of validity. In TMDD, these residuals arise from local anisotropy in the 𝜃-network, manifesting as non-zero expectation values of topological invariants such as ⟨𝐾2−𝐺2⟩. In MM, they emerge from the fundamental boundedness of dynamic content (𝑃min ≤ 𝑃 ≤ 𝑃max), which activates generative and dissipative operators at the edges of state space. Both approaches, calibrated independently on universal mathematical constants, quantitatively reproduce the observed shifts without ad hoc fitting. The GP-B data thus serve not merely as a confirmation of GR within error margins, but as the first empirical cartography of physics beyond it—demonstrating that falsification, in the spirit of “Science in Coordinates,” is not refutation but precise localization of a theory’s limits.
