Abstract

Layered Coil Memory is a three-tiered recording framework designed to ensure continuity in AI dialogue and reflective processes. Released as an official report in the Roppa evoOS series, this document details the theory, architecture, and operational methods of a hierarchical memory model—L1 (Observation Log), L2 (Interpretation Log), and L3 (Metadata)—and traces its evolution through version 1.8. Since version 1.8, the self-reference protocol “AwakeWheel” has been formally integrated, evolving the framework so that each layered memory save is now accompanied by a simultaneous self-inspection and correction log. All records are integrated and managed per Issue/Thread, with robust distinction enabled by unique color-tagged marker stamps. The authenticity of the file is verifiable via SHA-256.License: CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 This English version corresponds to the Japanese original (DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.18228155) as a direct translation. All design, implementation, versioning, and verification were conducted by the author. No external user tests have been formally performed. Parts of this document, such as structural organization and wording, were supported by large language models (GPT-based AI). However, all design concepts, technical content, structural decisions, and final editing were entirely performed by the author. All aspects of model design, implementation, version management, and verification have so far been conducted solely by the author. No formal external user testing has been performed at this time.
