Abstract

This document presents a step-by-step practical guide developed within the Intergenerational Circularity citizen science project, conducted in Nice, France, as part of the IMPETUS programme. The guide is intended for local stakeholders, including municipalities, associations, community organisations, senior centres, and sustainability practitioners interested in fostering intergenerational exchange around circular skills. Building on data collected from residents through surveys, interviews, and participatory workshops, the guide translates research findings into actionable recommendations. It focuses on everyday circular skills, such as repair, reuse, maintenance, and upcycling, that are still widely held by older adults but remain insufficiently visible and rarely transmitted to younger generations. This resource is designed to be non-technical, replicable, and adaptable to different local contexts. It complements the anonymised datasets, questionnaires, and analytical outputs released alongside the project and supports the translation of behavioural science and citizen science insights into concrete local action.
