Abstract

This list of Imperial Diets and editions was prepared in connection with the project application for ImpDiDa (Imperial Diet Data). ImpDiDa focuses on the period from the Imperial Diet of Worms (1495), the first major attempt at Imperial Reform, to the Diet of Regensburg (1613), the last held before the outbreak of the Thirty Years’ War. This period marked the gradual transformation of the Imperial Diet into a more structured institution with increasingly formalized procedures. The list includes all Imperial Diets from this period as represented in the editions series of the Historical Commission at the Bavarian Academy of Sciences and Humanities (HiKo), together with the available editions and the dates during which each diet was held.
