Structural Degrees of Freedom in Supersymmetry and Their Relation to Second Physics
Abstract
Supersymmetric theories introduce structural degrees of freedom that are mathematically necessary for internal consistency but do not correspond to propagating or experimentally falsifiable particles. In parallel, the framework of Second Physics models the vacuum as a structured medium endowed with internal states and organizing principles. This paper examines the conceptual relationship between these two approaches. Points of structural resonance and formal analogy are identified, while preserving the distinct ontological roles of supersymmetric structures and the Second Physics vacuum. The analysis clarifies how both frameworks motivate a shift toward a structure-based interpretation of physical reality without conflating their theoretical domains.
