Abstract

This dataset contains the survey data used in the study: Real, J.C., Cepeda-Carrión, I., & Pérez-Bou, S. (2025).“Driving sustainability: Green drivers and practices in the textile-fashion industry”,Management Letters / Cuadernos de Gestión, 25(2), 73–88. https://doi.org/10.5295/cdg.252326jc The dataset includes responses from 166 Spanish firms operating in the textile-fashion industry. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire administered to senior managers responsible for sustainability, operations, supply chain, quality or general management. The survey measures three main groups of constructs: 1) GSCM drivers:- Environmental awareness- Regulatory requirements- Internal motivators- External pressure 2) Internal GSCM practices, divided into:- Process-oriented practices: • Green production • Green logistics • Internal environmental management- Product-oriented practices: • Eco-design • Green packaging 3) GSCM performance:- Economic / financial performance- Environmental performance All variables were measured using 7-point Likert scales adapted from validated instruments in the literature. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). This dataset enables replication of the empirical results reported in the article and can be reused for further research on green supply chain management, sustainability drivers, and environmental and economic performance in firms within the textile-fashion sector. No personally identifiable or confidential company information is included.
