THE ROLE OF PADLET IN EFL CLASSROOM
Abstract
This article explores the integration and pedagogical value of Padlet, a digital collaboration tool, in the English as a Foreign Language (EFL) classroom. As technological tools become increasingly essential in language education, Padlet stands out for its capacity to promote collaborative learning, enhance writing skills, and increase student engagement. Drawing on recent research and practical classroom applications, the study highlights how Padlet facilitates interactive learning through multimedia-supported tasks and peer-to-peer feedback. The article discusses its role in developing writing competence, supporting differentiated instruction, and enabling real-time formative assessment. Findings suggest that when effectively implemented, Padlet can significantly enrich the learning experience and foster a student-centred environment in both face-to-face and online EFL contexts. Padlet could be a really helpful tool at the same time for collaborative learning. These findings highlight the need for digital literacy support and scaffolding strategies when integrating technology in language education.
