The Extended State Space of Second Physics: Dynamics of a Structured Vacuum and the Role of the Internal Variable Ξ
Abstract
Any complete physical theory is defined not only by its equations of motion, but by its underlying space of states. Classical electrodynamics, fluid dynamics, general relativity, and quantum field theory each derive their predictive power from a well-defined notion of physical state. In this work, we show that the current formulation of Second Physics—which models the vacuum as a structured, polyphase medium with distributed spin degrees of freedom—requires an explicit and compact definition of its state space in order to become a fully dynamical theory. I introduce the state vector Ψ = (Fμν, Sμ, Ξ), where Fμν is the mediated electromagnetic field, Sμ is a distributed spin field, and Ξ is a dynamical internal structural variable encoding multiscale organization, memory, and phase configuration of the medium. I demonstrate that this definition naturally leads to a generalized state space with the topology of a Hilbert bundle rather than a conventional Hilbert space. The resulting framework allows for coherent dynamics, selective quantization, and history-dependent evolution, providinga unified description of classical, quantum, and mesoscopic phenomena within a single theoretical structure.
