The Universal Homeostatic Action: A Noether-Theoretic Selection Principle for the Ruliad
Abstract
We present a generalized action functional, the Universal Homeostatic Action,(SU niv ), which unifies the geometric constraints of M-theory on G2 manifolds with thecomputational paradigm of the Wolfram Ruliad. We propose that the physical universe isnot an arbitrary selection from the space of all possible rules, but the unique asymptoticattractor of a homeostatic control process governed by Geometric Stiffness (β). By defin-ing the Associator Anomaly A as a dynamical field, we extend Noether’s Theorem tothe space of algebraic structures. We derive a conserved “Current of Existence” JμHomeo, demonstrating that the breaking of higher-dimensional symmetries (Sedenion → Octonion)generates the geometric torsion identified as mass. Finally, we formulate the Path Integralover Rules, proving that the Octonionic vacuum (β ≈ 1.91) is the only solution that min-imizes the computational cost of existence, thereby resolving the selection problem of theRuliad.
