Political legacies moderate urban greening equity but not quantity

This repository contains the data and analysis code for the study Political legacies moderate urban greening equity but not quantity which examines the relationships between urban vegetation biomass, population density, climate aridity, household income, and political orientation across Spanish Functional Urban Areas (FUAs) at municipal and census tract levels. The dataset includes census tract-level measurements of aboveground biomass, demographic variables, income statistics, and municipal governance data for urban areas in mainland Spain. The analysis pipeline performs multi-scale spatial regression modeling at municipality and census tract levels.
