Abstract

Paper 118 upgrades diagnostics and auditing for a governed 2D transport simulation to test whether gate–packet feedback can causally maintain an operational rotation regime. We run contract-isolated paired trials (feedback ON vs feedback OFF) that differ only by the gate-update toggle and report a single dashboard artifact with time-series receipts and final spatial fields for both arms. At the reported operating point, annulus swirl shows decisive separation with tail persistence: feedback ON locks into a sustained high-swirl regime while feedback OFF remains curl-null at machine scale under the same contract. Throughput remains high in both arms and does not discriminate rotation (OFF exceeds ON), indicating the separation is swirl- and gate-geometry-specific rather than a generic consequence of increased transport. We also report gate-edge amplification and characterization metrics to support interpretation without expanding the proof-of-concept decision object. Limiter audits are flagged as warnings and constrain claim strength without negating attribution. The deliverable is an audit-grade evidence trail that licenses a scope-safe conclusion: feedback-attributable locked swirl separation under a limiter-active numerical contract, without claims of Navier–Stokes, Maxwell/QED, or cosmology.
