UCDM
Abstract
The Universal Coherence Dynamics Model (UCDM) is a cross-domain predictive framework authored by Jarid Shaub in 2025 that unifies collapse and recovery dynamics across physics, neuroscience, artificial intelligence, ecology, and strategic systems . It proposes a single invariant differential law — d𝒞/dt = k(ℒᵣ − Ξ₀) — where coherence (𝒞) rises or collapses depending on the balance between regenerative momentum (ℒᵣ, the Resurrection Loop Index) and entropy pressure (Ξ₀, the Collapse Gate). The constant k ≈ 0.421 remains stable across all tested domains, forming the empirical core of the model . By integrating concepts from quantum decoherence, EEG trauma recovery, ecological resilience, and AI catastrophic forgetting, UCDM bridges silos and provides a falsifiable, operational law for predicting systemic recovery after collapse. Its implications extend to mission-critical resilience engineering, autonomous regeneration, and cross-domain failure-mode forecasting — positioning it as both a scientific unification and a practical predictive tool for real-world complex systems.
